Web desk: Iran new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei released his first official statement. He gave a strong message to the enemies of Iran. He directly warned the United States and Israel.
Mojtaba Khamenei said that his new position brings heavy responsibility. He said the role requires decisions not only for today but also for the future of Iran. He promised that communication between Iranian leaders and the people will always continue.
He said the people of Iran have already shown the world that they are a great nation. He prayed that God guides him so he can guide the nation. He also said he will follow the teachings of the Quran while serving the people.
Mojtaba Khamenei said his leadership has no value without the support of the people. He said he will continue to follow the path of great Iranian leaders with the help of God. He said unity of the people will defeat the enemies.
He praised the Iranian nation for making wise decisions during difficult times. He said the determination of the people will always defeat hostile forces.
He said that during the hardest moments Iranian forces gave a powerful response to enemy attacks. According to him enemy attacks failed to dominate Iran. He also accused enemies of targeting innocent Iranian civilians.
Mojtaba Khamenei clearly warned the enemies that Iran will not give up the right to avenge the blood of martyrs. He said the Strait of Hormuz should remain closed. He demanded the removal of United States military bases from the Middle East.
He warned that if these bases continue operating attacks against them will continue.
He revealed that his father his wife and his sister were martyred and their names are now among the martyrs. He said martyrs are in a better place today.
He promised that Iran will take revenge for every martyr. He said enemies will be held responsible for the blood of Iranians. He also accused enemies of attacking schools and causing destruction in Iran. He said every loss will have a price.
The Supreme Leader said Iran has good relations with fifteen neighboring countries. However he said some countries allow foreign military bases that are used against Iran.
He warned that if attacks from United States bases continue Iran will have no option except counter attacks.
He said Iran wants better relations with its neighbors. He also said his father Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was martyred while reading the Quran on the tenth day of Ramadan.
He ended his message with a strong call for unity among all Iranians.
